JIMMY LOVETT

I am currently a Ph.D. student at Oklahoma State University. My research interests encompass nearly every conceivable question related to animals, their behavior and physiology, and habitat disturbance effects. My current research involves investigating the detection of changes to circadian activity and vision in bats exposed to environmental heavy metals at Tar Creek Superfund Site in northeast Oklahoma.

MY LATEST RESEARCH

I am intensely interested in how human changes to the environment affect the lives and health of animals living in those areas. My current research investigates how the heavy metals lead and cadmium affect circadian activity levels and vision in bats within the Tar Creek Superfund Site in northeast Oklahoma.
